Nicholas Galitzine, who is set to play the lead role in the live action He-Man film, “Masters of the Universe,” has announced the start of the film’s production. Although the movie’s premiere date is yet to be disclosed, the buzz suggests a 2026 release.

Embodying the barbarian character required a massive physical transformation for Galitzine. Celebrating the start of production, he shared a photo on Instagram showcasing his muscular build without revealing the full look of the character. However, he is seen gripping the iconic Power Sword, hinting at his character’s transformation.

Before Galitzine was confirmed for the role, Kyle Allen and Noah Centineo were considered for the part by other studios. The project was initially set up at Warner Bros. and Sony before moving to Netflix. However, due to budgetary issues, Netflix cancelled the movie in 2023. Now, the baton of production has been taken up by Amazon MGM Studios.
