Xbox plans to launch portable console in 2025 and new generation in 2027

Microsoft is expanding its hardware line with a Portable console, codename "Keenan", scheduled for release in late 2025. Developed in partnership with a PCs gamer manufacturer, the device will have characteristic Xbox design, including the official guide button, and will run Windows, allowing direct access to the Microsoft Store, PC Game Pass and Steam.

Main features of "Keenan":

In addition, Microsoft has already approved the development of the next generation of Xbox, with scheduled release for 2027. A premium Xbox Series X successor and Microsoft's own portable console are expected, as well as new controls with direct cloud connectivity.
